Description

A heartwarming meatloaf recipe that brings family together with rich flavors and tender texture.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to a baking dish.
  5. Bake for about 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is fully cooked and has an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  6. Once out of the oven, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground turkey. To keep leftovers fresh, store in an airtight container and consume within 3 days.
