Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to a baking dish.
- Bake for about 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is fully cooked and has an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
- Once out of the oven, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute ground turkey. To keep leftovers fresh, store in an airtight container and consume within 3 days.
