Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 cup cherries (fresh, frozen, or canned)
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of cinnamon
- Optional toppings: chopped nuts, coconut flakes, or more cherries
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, and vanilla extract.
- Add the maple syrup or honey, and a pinch of cinnamon, then stir to combine.
- Gently fold in the cherries, ensuring they’re mixed throughout.
- Divide the mixture into jars or containers, sealing them tightly.
- Refrigerate overnight or a minimum of 4 hours for the best results.
- Before serving, give them a stir and add additional toppings if you desire.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. Microwave for about 30 seconds if you prefer a warm breakfast.
