Description

A delightful twist on classic bagels made with cottage cheese and almond flour, offering a fluffy, protein-packed treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Optional: sesame seeds, everything bagel seasoning for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, almond flour, eggs, baking powder, and salt. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Divide the dough into four equal portions and shape each into a bagel by creating a hole in the center.
  4. Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning if desired.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and firm to the touch.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before enjoying.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days or freeze individually for up to two months. Reheat in a toaster or microwave.
