Description

Flavorful chicken breasts roasted in a rich butter sauce with garlic and spices.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried)
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, garlic, parsley, smoked paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Rub this mixture generously over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Place the chicken in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, allowing the chicken to brown slightly.
  7. Once cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C), remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the butter mixture for a few hours or overnight.
