Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried)
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, garlic, parsley, smoked paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Rub this mixture generously over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated.
- Place the chicken in a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, allowing the chicken to brown slightly.
- Once cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C), remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
