Description

A tender and creamy chicken dish made effortlessly in a slow cooker, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Optional: sliced green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  3. Add the cream cheese and pour the beef broth over the top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for about 3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and incorporated.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

For added depth, include minced garlic or diced onions. Experiment with cheese varieties and additional vegetables for a twist.
