Description

A delicious and customizable burger recipe that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cheese slices (American or cheddar)
  • Burger buns (sesame, brioche, etc.)
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Onion, sliced
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Your favorite condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise)

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, making a slight indentation in the center for even cooking.
  4. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side, adding a slice of cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster.
  6. Assemble your burgers by placing the patty on the bun and adding lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and your preferred condiments.

Notes

Serve with a variety of toppings and sides for a personalized meal.
