Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
- Green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in a crockpot.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken.
- Cut the cream cheese into chunks and set them on top of the chicken.
- Cover the crockpot, and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once the chicken is cooked through, shred it using two forks and mix with the cream cheese until well blended.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Serve on fresh buns or wraps, and add chopped green onions for an extra touch.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 3 months.
