Description

A creamy, zesty dish that combines flavors and textures with minimal effort, perfect for family dinners or casual get-togethers.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Cut the cream cheese into chunks and set them on top of the chicken.
  4. Cover the crockpot, and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked through, shred it using two forks and mix with the cream cheese until well blended.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
  7. Serve on fresh buns or wraps, and add chopped green onions for an extra touch.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 3 months.
