Delightful bites combining creamy cheese and tart cranberry in flaky crescent dough, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- Optional: chopped pecans or orange zest for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease or line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half.
- Press each triangle into the muffin cups to form little cups.
- Spoon in about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each dough cup, followed by 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans or orange zest if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes to regain flakiness.
