Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup dried cranberries (or fresh cranberries, finely chopped & sweetened)
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, honey, and vanilla until well-blended and smooth.
- Stir in cranberries and chives.
- Lightly flour your surface and roll out the puff pastry sheet to a rectangle.
- Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the pastry.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log and slice into approximately 16 equal rounds.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the pinwheels cut-side up on the baking sheet.
- Brush the tops lightly with egg wash, and sprinkle with Parmesan if using.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Garnish with extra chives and serve warm or at room temperature.

For an extra flavor twist, consider adding a splash of orange zest or using nuts like walnuts or pecans.
