Description
Delightful bites of cream cheese paired with sweet and spicy pepper jelly, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.
Ingredients
- 1 package crescent dough sheet
- 4 1/2 teaspoons pepper jelly
- 1/3 block cream cheese
Instructions
- Take the cream cheese out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before you start to soften it.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (375°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheets).
- Unroll the crescent dough sheet on a clean surface and slice it into 18 equal squares using a pizza cutter.
- Cut the cream cheese into 18 small rectangles, covering about 1/5 of each dough square.
- On each dough square, place 1/4 teaspoon of pepper jelly followed by a piece of cream cheese.
- Fold the squares to form triangles, pinching the sides towards the middle and folding up the top point to seal.
- Lightly spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and arrange the bites on it. Bake for 10-13 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
To elevate presentation, arrange on a colorful platter with fresh herbs. They pair well with a crisp salad or a side of chips and salsa.
