Description

A quick, nutritious, and satisfying salmon salad perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends.

Ingredients

  • 14.75 oz can salmon, drained
  • 1/3 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp chopped dill pickle
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained salmon, chopped red onion, and celery.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt, olive oil, Dijon mustard, dill pickle, and dried dill.
  3. Use a fork to gently mix everything together until well combined.
  4. Taste the salad and adjust the seasoning if necessary, adding more salt and freshly ground black pepper to suit your preferences.
  5. Serve your salad over a bed of greens, on toasted bread, or with your favorite crackers!

Notes

Consider rinsing the canned salmon to reduce sodium content. For extra flavor, mix in a squeeze of fresh lemon juice or a splash of hot sauce.
