Ingredients
- Pasta (rotini or penne)
- Beef bacon, cooked and chopped
- Cheddar cheese, shredded (sharp for more flavor)
- Ranch dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- Green onions, sliced
- Bell pepper, diced (any color)
- Cherry tomatoes, halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start by cooking the pasta in boiling salted water until it’s al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- In a skillet, cook the beef bacon over medium heat until it’s crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, chopped beef bacon, cheddar cheese, green onions, bell pepper, and halved cherry tomatoes.
- Pour the ranch dressing over the salad and mix until everything is well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
