Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
- 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
- 1 cup of heavy cream (or a lighter alternative)
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
- Optional: fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or thyme)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large baking dish, place the chicken breasts and surround them with the trimmed asparagus.
- In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken and asparagus evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Drizzle olive oil over the dish and cover it with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
