Description

A hearty pasta dish with tender steak enveloped in a flavorful Cajun butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of pasta (your choice)
  • 1 pound of steak (such as ribeye or sirloin)
  • 3 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove the steak and let it rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add onions and garlic, cooking until fragrant and soft.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Slice the rested steak and return it to the skillet with the pasta. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
  7. Adjust seasoning if needed, then serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For the best flavor, let the steak rest before slicing. Consider using a cast-iron skillet for even heat distribution.
