Description
A hearty pasta dish with tender steak enveloped in a flavorful Cajun butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces of pasta (your choice)
- 1 pound of steak (such as ribeye or sirloin)
- 3 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove the steak and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, add onions and garlic, cooking until fragrant and soft.
- Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes.
- Slice the rested steak and return it to the skillet with the pasta. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
- Adjust seasoning if needed, then serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For the best flavor, let the steak rest before slicing. Consider using a cast-iron skillet for even heat distribution.
