Description

A comforting and nostalgic cheesy chicken casserole that’s easy to prepare and perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, milk, beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread half of the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Layer Swiss cheese on top, followed by the remaining chicken mixture.
  5. Top with cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs, drizzling olive oil over the breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

Serve hot garnished with fresh parsley. This dish can be made ahead of time and is suitable for freezing.
