Description

A comforting and creamy chicken pasta dish perfect for weeknight meals and gatherings, combining simple ingredients with rich flavors.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Once done, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper before adding it to the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, allowing it to come to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing everything in the creamy sauce until well coated.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately. Pair with garlic bread or a crisp salad for a complete meal.

Notes

For a lighter option, swap fettuccine for another pasta type or use grilled chicken. Always use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
