Description

A rich and decadent dessert featuring layers of chocolate, caramel, and toffee that creates a delightful experience in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. Add the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool before transferring it onto a wire rack.
  6. While the cake cools, heat the heavy cream and stir it into the caramel sauce until well blended.
  7. Once the cake is cooled, drizzle the caramel mixture over the top and sprinkle with toffee bits.
  8. Let it set before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute the flour with almond flour. Make the caramel sauce in advance for convenience.
