Ingredients
- 8 oz linguine (or pasta of your choice)
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (plus more for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- Stir in the minced garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer and allow to thicken slightly.
- Add the drained linguine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce. Mix in fresh parsley just before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, use chickpeas in place of chicken. You can also enhance the dish by adding spinach or bell peppers.
