Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for a couple of minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Add the gnocchi to the skillet, stirring gently to combine and let it cook in the sauce for about 5-7 minutes, or until the gnocchi is tender, stirring occasionally.
  5. Reduce heat, then mix in the shredded cheese until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
