Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for a couple of minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the gnocchi to the skillet, stirring gently to combine and let it cook in the sauce for about 5-7 minutes, or until the gnocchi is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat, then mix in the shredded cheese until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
