- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Optionally, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a crock pot, combine cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper; stir well.
- Place chicken breasts into the crock pot, ensuring they are coated with the sauce mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
- Shred the chicken with two forks in the pot and mix into the sauce.
- For extra creaminess, stir in sour cream and top with shredded cheddar cheese and fresh parsley, if desired.
Notes
You can swap sour cream for Greek yogurt for a lighter option or use gluten-free cream of chicken soup for a gluten-sensitive dish. Consider marinating chicken in ranch dressing overnight for added flavor.
