Description

A comforting, creamy chicken dish cooked in a crock pot, perfect for busy weeknights and easy gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth until well combined.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and fork-tender.
  5. Shred the chicken in the crock pot and stir it into the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream. Add fresh herbs or spices for extra flavor.
