Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Add minced garlic and pour in the chicken broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until chicken is tender and easily shreds.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a separate pot.
- Drain the pasta and mix it into the slow cooker until well combined.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute chicken broth with vegetable broth or use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. You can also add steamed broccoli or sautéed mushrooms for extra veggies.
