Ingredients

  • 2 cans canned salmon (14.75-ounce cans, drained and flaked)
  • 1.5 teaspoons liquid smoke
  • 4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)
  • ¼ cup fresh dill (or 2 teaspoons dried dill)
  • ¼ cup minced shallot
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flaked salmon with minced shallot, garlic, and dill.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, liquid smoke, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
