Description

A comforting and rich dish featuring chicken breasts enveloped in a creamy parmesan sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a pan over medium heat, heat the olive oil.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper, and place them in the pan.
  3. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove it from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese and mix until it’s melted and smooth.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the pan, coating it with the creamy sauce.
  8. Allow it to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to enhance the flavors.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

This dish can be made lighter by substituting heavy cream with half-and-half or making it dairy-free with coconut cream and nutritional yeast.
