Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a pan over medium heat, heat the olive oil.
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper, and place them in the pan.
- Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove it from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the grated parmesan cheese and mix until it’s melted and smooth.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan, coating it with the creamy sauce.
- Allow it to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to enhance the flavors.
- Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
This dish can be made lighter by substituting heavy cream with half-and-half or making it dairy-free with coconut cream and nutritional yeast.
