Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables or pasta.
