Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package directions. Once done, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden and fully cooked. Slice the chicken and set aside.
- Using the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, approximately 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, allowing it to cook until slightly thickened.
- Toss the cooked pasta and sliced chicken into the skillet, mixing well to combine all the flavors.
- Enjoy it warm, garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
