Description

A delicious creamy chicken pasta dish perfect for romantic dinners or family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces pasta of your choice (penne works well)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil, to garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then add the chicken. Cook until golden brown on both sides and fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain.
  7. Slice the chicken and add it to the sauce along with the cooked pasta. Mix well to combine.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

For a sumptuous presentation, consider adding a sprinkle of extra Parmesan on top and serving with garlic bread.
