Description

A showstopper dish combining tender chicken with rich flavors and a creamy sun-dried tomato sauce, perfect for impressing guests at any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth, followed by the heavy cream. Stir thoroughly to combine.
  5. Add the Parmesan cheese and dried oregano. Mix until the sauce is smooth and heated through.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it in the sauce. Allow it to simmer for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

For a twist, try swapping sun-dried tomatoes for roasted red peppers or using different cheeses like feta or goat cheese.
