Description

A comforting dish featuring tender pork chops in a rich cream sauce with sautéed mushrooms and fresh spinach, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove them and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Sauté until tender and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until just wilted.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for a few minutes to thicken slightly.
  6. Return the pork chops to the skillet and coat them in the creamy sauce.
  7. Let everything cook together for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For variations, consider swapping Italian seasoning for fresh herbs or adding Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
