A quick and flavorful air fryer salmon recipe that elevates any weeknight dinner into a special occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (5–8 oz. each)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse sea salt
- Pinch of pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, Italian seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, and pepper to form a rub.
- Generously pat this mixture onto both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 7-9 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the tops are beautifully caramelized.
- Remove from the air fryer, plate, and serve hot.
Notes
For a touch of sweetness, honey can replace the brown sugar. Serve with steamed asparagus or roasted veggies for a complete meal.
