Description

Delicious and satisfying chicken burgers with a crispy coating, perfect for cookouts and weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (use panko for extra crunch)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro)
  • 1 large egg
  • Oil (for frying)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chopped herbs and crack in the egg, mixing until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to firm up.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the patties.
  5. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Transfer to a plate and let rest before serving.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, marinate the ground chicken with spices or sauce of your choice for a couple of hours before mixing. You can also use an air fryer for a healthier cooking method.
