Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (use panko for extra crunch)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro)
- 1 large egg
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add chopped herbs and crack in the egg, mixing until just combined.
- Form the mixture into patties and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to firm up.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the patties.
- Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer to a plate and let rest before serving.
Notes
For an extra layer of flavor, marinate the ground chicken with spices or sauce of your choice for a couple of hours before mixing. You can also use an air fryer for a healthier cooking method.
