Description
A delightful sandwich featuring crunchy chicken and rich Caesar dressing, perfect for lunch or casual dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup flour (for dredging)
- 2 eggs (for binding)
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup fresh romaine lettuce (for crunch)
- Optional: 4 strips of cooked crispy beef bacon
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour.
- Dip the floured chicken in beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
- Coat with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese.
- In a heated skillet, fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Toast your bread until lightly golden.
- Place the cooked chicken on the toasted bread, layer with romaine lettuce, and drizzle with Caesar dressing.
- If desired, add strips of crispy beef bacon on top, then close the sandwich or serve open-faced.
Notes
For extra crunch, make sure your oil is hot enough when frying the chicken. Consider marinating the chicken in spices or buttermilk beforehand for added flavor.
