Description

A delightful combination of tender chicken, crisp romaine lettuce, and tangy Caesar dressing, all encased in a soft tortilla. Perfect for lunch or picnics!


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: croutons for added crunch


Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown. Let rest before cutting into strips.
  2. Prepare the salad: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and croutons (if using). Toss until the lettuce is well coated.
  3. Assemble the wraps: Lay a tortilla flat and place a portion of the salad mixture in the center. Top with the crispy chicken strips.
  4. Wrap it up: Fold the sides over the filling and then roll from the bottom up until secure.
  5. Serve: Slice the wrap in half or enjoy it whole, with your favorite dipping sauce if desired.

Notes

For added crunch, consider using panko bread crumbs for the chicken. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
