Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, these chicken patties are a delightful twist on traditional comfort food.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground chicken
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 Eggs
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and chopped parsley.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper; then add to the chicken mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into small patties or a large disc, according to preference.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, and sear the patties on both sides until golden brown.
- Transfer into the oven and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
Let the cooked patties rest for a few minutes after baking to help them hold their shape when served.
