Description

Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, these chicken patties are a delightful twist on traditional comfort food.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground chicken
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 Eggs
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and chopped parsley.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper; then add to the chicken mixture, mixing until just combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into small patties or a large disc, according to preference.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, and sear the patties on both sides until golden brown.
  6. Transfer into the oven and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Let the cooked patties rest for a few minutes after baking to help them hold their shape when served.
