Description

A comforting Shake and Bake chicken recipe that features crispy perfection and juicy tenderness, perfect for busy weeknights and family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Shake and Bake coating mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs until well combined.
  4. Pour the Shake and Bake coating mix into another bowl.
  5. Take each chicken breast, dip it in the egg mixture, and then coat it thoroughly with the Shake and Bake mix.
  6. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let the chicken rest for five minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. You can also try mixing garlic powder or paprika into the coating for added flavor.
