Description

A comforting slow-cooked chicken dish featuring a creamy ranch sauce that’s perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Combine the ranch seasoning mix, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Add shredded cheese to the top about 15 minutes before serving. Cover until melted.
  6. Serve over rice, noodles, or veggies, spooning some extra sauce over individual servings.

Notes

Consider using Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter option. This dish can also be made ahead of time.
