Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add half of the cooked ground beef, followed by half of the onion and a sprinkle of cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, onions, and cheese.
- Pour the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth evenly over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Notes
Serve hot with a side salad or crusty bread. For added flavor, consider including garlic or herbs while cooking.
