  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.33 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Transfer the chicken to the slow cooker.
  4. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, then pour over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, chicken broth, sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, oregano, and basil.
  6. Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken, ensuring it is covered.
  7. Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours until the chicken is tender.
  8. Adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
