Description

A comforting slow-cooked beef dish infused with zesty flavors and perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 3-4 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 3-4 whole pepperoncini peppers
  • Fresh ground black pepper (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Sear the beef in a hot skillet until browned on all sides.
  2. Transfer the beef to the crock pot.
  3. Sprinkle ranch and au jus mixes over the meat.
  4. Place a stick of butter on top and add the pepperoncini.
  5. Season with black pepper.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours until tender and shredded easily with a fork.

Notes

For best flavor, consider marinating the beef overnight with the seasoning mixes. Adjust pepperoncini based on your spice preference.
