Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons garam masala
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Naan or rice for serving
Instructions
- Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the crockpot.
- Place chicken thighs on top, then pour in tomato sauce, butter, garam masala, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
- Remove chicken, shred it with two forks, and return it to the pot.
- Add heavy cream and simmer for an extra 15 minutes.
- Serve warm over rice or with naan, garnished with fresh cilantro.

For a healthier option, substitute chicken thighs with chicken breasts and heavy cream with coconut milk.
