Description

A comforting dish combining tender chicken, creamy sauce, and pasta, perfect for busy weeknights and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of diced onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 can of chicken broth
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 cups of pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Add diced onions and minced garlic on top of the chicken.
  3. Pour the chicken broth over the mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours or until the chicken is tender.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it directly in the slow cooker.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, mixing well until smooth.
  7. Cook the pasta separately according to package instructions, then drain.
  8. Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy chicken mixture. Stir to coat well.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

For a delightful presentation, serve in bowls topped with extra Parmesan and freshly chopped parsley. Great with a side salad and crusty bread.
