Description

Tender chicken in a luscious honey garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ground ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is tender.
  5. For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little water, stir into the sauce, and cook for an additional 30 minutes on high.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for a few hours before cooking. Consider adding vegetables like bell peppers for a twist.
