Description

A hearty one-pot meal of beef kielbasa and fresh green beans, perfect for busy days.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Layer the beef kielbasa, sautéed onions, green beans, and minced garlic in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour in the beef broth, and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir gently to combine the ingredients, ensuring everything is well-coated with the broth.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the green beans are tender and the flavors have melded together beautifully.

Notes

For a fun twist, try using chicken sausage instead of beef kielbasa for a lighter option. Add various colorful vegetables for enhanced flavor and nutrition.
