Description
A simple and flavorful chicken dish cooked in a slow cooker, perfect for weeknight meals and gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- Pepperoncinis (to taste)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus mix evenly over the top.
- Cut the unsalted butter into small pieces and arrange them on top of the chicken.
- Add pepperoncinis according to your heat preference.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it well with the sauce before serving.
Notes
For added depth, try browning the chicken in a skillet before adding it to the slow cooker. Use different brands of ranch and au jus for unique flavors.
