Description

A simple and flavorful chicken dish cooked in a slow cooker, perfect for weeknight meals and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Pepperoncinis (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus mix evenly over the top.
  3. Cut the unsalted butter into small pieces and arrange them on top of the chicken.
  4. Add pepperoncinis according to your heat preference.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  6. Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it well with the sauce before serving.

Notes

For added depth, try browning the chicken in a skillet before adding it to the slow cooker. Use different brands of ranch and au jus for unique flavors.
