Description

A rich and creamy chicken dish slow-cooked with Italian herbs and spices, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Mix the cream cheese with the Italian dressing mix and chicken broth until creamy.
  3. Pour this mixture over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours until the chicken is tender.
  5. Stir in fresh spinach during the last 30 minutes to wilt.
  6. Shred the chicken and mix everything together before serving.

Notes

Season the chicken lightly before adding the mixture for better flavor. Consider adding a cornstarch slurry for a thicker sauce.
