Description

This comforting Crockpot Pierogi Casserole combines hearty kielbasa with creamy pierogies for a perfect meal during chilly evenings or chaotic weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 package cheddar pierogies
  • 2 cups creamy chicken broth (or vegetable broth for a vegetarian option)
  • 1 pound savory kielbasa, sliced
  • 2 cups melted cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Layer the cheddar pierogies evenly in the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. Slice the kielbasa into rounds and layer it over the pierogies.
  3. Pour the creamy chicken broth over the entire mixture.
  4. Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle melted cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Cover again until the cheese melts, then gently stir before serving.

Notes

Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and a side of crisp salad or steamed green beans.
