Description

Delicious meatballs simmered in a sweet and savory pineapple teriyaki sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated


Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, and ginger in a large bowl until just mixed.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  3. Place the meatballs in the crockpot.
  4. Add the pineapple chunks and pour the teriyaki sauce over the meatballs.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 240 minutes or high for 120 minutes, until meatballs are cooked through.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
