Delightful taco-inspired cups made with crunchy wonton wrappers, perfect for gatherings or a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef, browned and drained
- 1 envelope (3 tablespoons) taco seasoning
- 1 (10-oz) can Ro-Tel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles, drained
- 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (or Mexican blend)
- 24 wonton wrappers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Generously coat a standard-size muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked beef, taco seasoning, and drained tomatoes. Mix well.
- Line each cup of the prepared muffin tin with a wonton wrapper.
- Spoon 1.5 tablespoons of the taco mixture into each wrapper. Top with 1 tablespoon of cheese.
- Gently press down and add another layer of wonton wrapper, taco mixture, and a final sprinkle of cheese on top.
- Bake at 375°F for 11-13 minutes, or until the cups are heated through and the edges are golden.
Notes
For a healthier version, consider using ground turkey or chicken instead of beef. Serve with guacamole, salsa, or sour cream for added flavor.
