Description

Delightful taco-inspired cups made with crunchy wonton wrappers, perfect for gatherings or a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 envelope (3 tablespoons) taco seasoning
  • 1 (10-oz) can Ro-Tel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (or Mexican blend)
  • 24 wonton wrappers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Generously coat a standard-size muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cooked beef, taco seasoning, and drained tomatoes. Mix well.
  3. Line each cup of the prepared muffin tin with a wonton wrapper.
  4. Spoon 1.5 tablespoons of the taco mixture into each wrapper. Top with 1 tablespoon of cheese.
  5. Gently press down and add another layer of wonton wrapper, taco mixture, and a final sprinkle of cheese on top.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 11-13 minutes, or until the cups are heated through and the edges are golden.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider using ground turkey or chicken instead of beef. Serve with guacamole, salsa, or sour cream for added flavor.
