Ingredients
- 2 cups pasta (your choice, like penne or fusilli)
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth (or use vegetable broth)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Remove chicken from the pan and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
- In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer.
- Stir in the cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, mixing well to combine.
- Allow everything to heat through for a few minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
Garnish with fresh parsley for color and serve with garlic bread or a salad. For a filling meal, pair with grilled vegetables or soup.
