Description

A comforting combination of tender chicken, rich cheese, and al dente pasta that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pasta (your choice, like penne or fusilli)
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or use vegetable broth)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Remove chicken from the pan and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, mixing well to combine.
  7. Allow everything to heat through for a few minutes, then serve warm.

Notes

Garnish with fresh parsley for color and serve with garlic bread or a salad. For a filling meal, pair with grilled vegetables or soup.
