Description

A comforting Chicken Parmesan casserole that brings classic Italian flavors together in a delightful layered dish, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup bread crumbs (or gluten-free alternative)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Basil leaves, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken with marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  3. In a baking dish, spread half of the chicken mixture.
  4. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the chicken.
  5. Layer the remaining chicken mixture and top with the remaining cheese.
  6. Combine bread crumbs with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle evenly on top.
  7. Bake for about 30–35 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes
